PUBLICATION WITH FO.AM
Hymn for the Relational
Hymn for the Relational is a speculative story, neither theory nor fiction, published in collaboration with nomadic artist lab Fo.am. We follow Leia Ningen Hues, an archi-nymph who collaborates with her environment, exploring relationships between womanhood, architecture and generous love for the Earth.

Reciprocity as Cement
Out of Theory brings together newly written reflections and research on the relationship between ecology, theory and art. In our contribution we focus on reciprocity as a guideline for spatial practice. Reconsidering the role of the designer in building climate just futures, we actively counter the image of the single creative genius working behind the drawing table or computer. Instead of ‘design at a distance,’ we depict an image of the attuned designer working on vitalisation of social and ecological relationships in a situated manner.

LECTURE AT ARTEZ (NL)
Practice-Research
We contributed to the interdisciplinary seminar Turning the Page with a reflection on our approach to practice-based research. This approach is distinguished by the creation of spatial installations, such as mock-ups and re-enactments, through which we conduct sensorial and participatory fieldwork. These testing grounds allow us to study the spatial experience artistically and scientifically, intersecting the field of architecture with insights and methods from cognitive and contemplative sciences as well as from other visual and performative arts.

INTERVIEW VENICE BIENALLE
Organizing the Lobby
In the interactive film project by The Architecture Lobby we share our perspectives on cultural change in architectural design practice. Together with our colleagues from the global collective Feminist Spatial Practices, Bryony Roberts, Abriannah Aiken and Ridhi Chopra we propose transformation in spatial practice through feminist lenses.
The project is on display in Venice at La Biennale Architettura 2025.

INTERVIEW NOOK MAGAZINE
Past the Crossroads
The penny has dropped concerning critically rethinking our relationship with the built environment. But how will this shift impact the profession and role of the designer? Magazine NOOK explores these questions with interior architect Elise Zoetmulder (ZOETMULDER), architect and artist Renske Maria van Dam (SPACIOUS) and architect Sarah Poot (POOT ARCHITECTUUR).

PANEL AT TUDELFT (NL)
Pedagogies of Feminism
In this special BK Talks event, we explore the questions of how to engage in feminism from a pedagogical perspective together with Irene Luque Martin, Lara Schrijver, Els Bet, María Novas Ferradás, Roberto Rocco and Amber Coppens. In this intergenerational group we discuss the diverse understanding of pedagogical dimensions – from informal pedagogies, to activist and institutionalized pedagogies - and how feminism usually is tackled beyond the activist definition of the term. We aim to discuss positionality and plural ways of educational practices where feminist values have a place in the current midst of urgencies and socio-political struggle.

Lessons Learned from Passing Through Doorways
In our contribution to Noetics Without a Mind, we explore in-situ, embodied experimentation as a pedagogical tool for driving systemic change. Through a series of experimental design studios, this research reimagines teaching not as the transmission of knowledge but as an experimental and collaborative act of transformation. It cultivates students and teachers as active participants in producing knowledge for societal change.

EVENT AT EFLUX (NY)
Feminist Spatial Practices Web Platform Launch
As part of global collective Feminist Spatial Practices we are launching a new interactive online platform that celebrates the diverse ways that people practice feminism in the built environment at E-Flux in Brooklyn, New York. The Feminist Spatial Practices web platform and community programming highlights, shares and nurtures the diverse ways in which feminism is practiced across geographies and time.
